HOW THE TREATMENT WORKS

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that improves the overall appearance and health of your skin. Also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy, it delivers smoother texture, renewed firmness, softening of wrinkles and a reduction in scars and pore size.

The device contains a cluster of fine, very thin needles that create channels on the skin. The goal of this treatment is to penetrate the top layer of your skin. These micro injuries forces your body to produce and stimulate collagen and elastin production.

We recommend starting with 4 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Results can last for six months after your last treatment. Keep your skin young looking – and step out with confidence.

  • Face, Neck

  • Décolletage

  • Top of hands

  • Stretch Marks

  • Scars

Why Should I Consider Microneedling?

The fact is, Microneedling improves the look of your skin. This all-in-one solution can address many issues. Problems with uneven skin tone, rough texture, fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars are all improved. The best candidates are men or women of almost any age who are concerned with the appearance of their skin.

What to expect after a Collagen Induction Session

After your treatment, your skin will be slightly pink and puffy for up to 24 hours. It is also common to feel a tightness and/or some tenderness to the treated area the following day. This is a normal reaction. Approximately, 2-3 days after the treatment, you may experience some dryness and light flaking. We strongly recommend a medical grade peptide growth factor to boost skin rejuvenation and repair.

Is Microneedling painful?

A topical numbing cream is applied to the skin in order to maximize comfort during your treatment. Therefore, microneedling is not super painful. The pens speed can be adjusted for sensitive areas such as around the eyes and nose.

How does Microneedling work?

The simplest way to say it is that microneedling involves the insertion of very fine, short needles into the skin. By doing multiple passes over each section, it creates thousands of tiny punctures.

Don’t worry though, these tiny needles will not damage your skin. It will brilliantly boost your ability to produce more skin-firming collagen. With all these channels created, this is the best time to apply a topical product. It is an opportunity for the serum to reach deep skin layers for maximum correction and stimulation.

Our standard treatment includes Hyaluronic acid as a gliding agent. Once the treatment is complete, a hydration serum is applied

We strongly recommend considering other more potent serums like PRP or Exosomes for a more robust treatment.

After several weeks, you will begin to see gradual results. And, your skin will continue to improve as the collagen rebuilds.
